Recently, the guardians of Dalaran noticed some shady activity coming from the sewers under the city.

It seems that a scary, but weirdly charismatic guy found his way around our beautiful capital. Reports say that he's in the gambling business and Stormers are advised to stay away from him until more info becomes available.

However, everyone knows that we are powerful heroes, with strong armor and spells, so a little sneak peek won't hurt anyone...

That being said, Bran joins General Stormshadow and Warpweaver Stormcloud on the quest for creating one of the best gaming experinces out there.

Ready, Set, Raid!

As you all know, we love to receive feedback and suggestions from our community members, as it helps us make Storm-WoW better and better.

One of these suggestions was to give players the ability to reset their Dungeons and Raids as many times as they wish.

So in this regard, we're proud to present you with the latest addition to our world: General Stormshadow.

This legendary being has traveled the cosmos in search for a new place to call home and found us to be the perfect match. He will help every generous Stormer that is willing to pay the price.

You can locate him in Krasus' Landing - Dalaran.

We're glad to announce that lately we received an influx of players from distant lands, vowing to join the fight and pledge their allegiance to Storm.

And as you all know, we strive to offer the best experience to our Stormers, so we found a nice tool that will help with optimizing the in-game latency for the best possible performance.

The tool is Leatrix Latency Fix, a little program that will optimize some settings in your registry, to change the way your system handles information packets.

North American users will often go from ~200ms down to ~120ms, while Pacific players can get down to about ~220ms in good circumstances.

Don't hesitate to download it, it's safe and has a remove option in case you encounter any issues.

Also, because we often receive questions regarding the improvement of the visual quality of WotLK, we've setup a quick guide for you that will help in getting those stunning visuals.

A New Beginning | Update

When they summoned me to bring back this world, I thought to myself: "how could an old orc like me be of use, when my time as a creator long faded away... How could I keep the flame burning when all that fighting and pushing and conquering drained the very life out of me."

But while my mind was full of doubt, my heart found a tiny spark of light hidden deep inside my soul. It was a spark left by the lightning that once powered the Storm.
And from that moment a voice started whispering inside my head: get up Orc God... get up and fight once more!

So here I am Stormers, alive and ready to lead you to victory!
And with an EPIC changelog by our side, nothing can stop us!

Black Friday?!

Because we're all in a fantasy world where everything is possible, the renowned earthly holiday called Black Friday is with us every single day, just for the enjoyment of the compulsive shopper in you (well, not you... it's never you!).

So for those "poor" Stormers with large pockets (you know who you are), please be sure to check the Auction House at least 10 times a day and spend buckets of gold because... Because you can!

And for the normal people like you and me, well, don't hate on the rich, go back to work and start earning that coin!

Our Vision

Storm-WoW was created by friends, veterans of the old world, with the desire to honor memories, feelings and the enjoyment we had many years ago when life was much simpler and time went by a lot slower.
For us it isn't about the bragging rights of having the best stuff at any cost, we're long past that. For us it's about watching sunsets in Barrens and clearing up old and new dungeons for that sparkly piece of gear we always wanted.
And when we need to spice things a bit, Battlegrounds and Arenas are there to fulfill our competitive desires.
We like retreating to a fantasy world far from the daily frustration and anger, to a place where we can roam free as powerful heroes.

So in regard to a question we often receive, we want to make it clear that we at Storm-WoW, do not and will never support Pay to Win.
In our World you won't be able to buy gear, you'll have to earn everything in-game. That is our philosophy, so please stop asking.

Therefore, before calling Storm-WoW your new home ask yourself: Why do I play World of Warcraft?

5 years...

Five years have passed since we've lost the battle...
Five long years of pain and suffering caused by the attack that brought us to our knees, in an attempt to destroy all that we hold dear.

But while our body suffered, our spirit endured and with pride in our hearts we fought and we showed them that even Gods can bleed. We showed them that when the bond of the few is strong, anything is possible.
That is what Storm-WoW did. That is what we, as heroes of a world long forgotten, managed to create.
Even with all the hate and envy directed at us, our world is safe and always will be, and together we will prevail again and again and again...

Having said this, after five years of being lost, Storm-WoW is back alive and hoping for a brighter future.
